Geogiga Surface Plus 6.0 - Advanced Surface Wave Data Processing

Features | Screenshots | Version | Comparison

Geogiga Surface Plus is designed to handle both active and passive surface waves. It contains all the features provided in Geogiga Surface, and also has the ability to process the passive surface waves acquired with any shape of geometry layout including linear(roadside), circular, and non-circular. In addition, the SPAC function analysis, azimuth analysis, time segmentation, and dispersion spectrum combination are available in Geogiga Surface Plus.

Adavanced Features:

  • Process active and passive surface waves
  • Support any shape of geometry layout, such as linear(roadside), circular, and non-circular
  • Analyze passive surface waves with FK, SPAC, and EPAC method
  • Count time segments in the dispersion analysis
  • Generate dispersion curve with SPAC functions
  • Azimuth analysis for the non-linear layout
  • Combine dispersion spectrum within same record or among different records

Basic Features:

  • Load all shot records along a line at once, browse and select any record for QC
  • Interactively define geometry
  • Mute noise in time domain
  • Test the apparent velocity of surface waves on seismic data
  • Check frequeny range with amplitude spectrum analysis
  • Calculate dispersion spectrum in F-K, F-V, or F-P domain with high resolution FK method
  • Generate dispersion curve with SASW
  • Interactively pick dispersion curves
  • Display spectrum in 2D or 3D view
  • Interactively define the initial model for inversion
  • Invert dispersion curve with genetic algorithm (GA)
  • Interactively pause or resume inversion procedure
  • Calculate apparent Vs, Vs30(or Vs100), and depth-weighted velocities
  • Plot dispersion and velocity curve at a single location
  • Compare different dispersion and velocity curves at the same location
  • Display the curves and color section along a line
  • Output section with contours and editable stratigraphic symbols
  • Export results to a text file
