Features | Screenshots | Version
Version 7.0
Geogiga Refractor 7.0 has following new features and improvements:
- Geometry can be redefined after seismic data is loaded.
- Elevation data can be copied from other text editors with the Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V keys.
- Trigger delay correction can be applied on seismic data and TX curves based on specified time or surface velocity.
- Auto-pick first breaks guided with apparent velocity and/or wavelet phases.
- Show all or single record(s) in the dockable Trace View.
- The time range of curve display can be synchronized with that of trace display.
- Trace wiggles can be plotted with positive or/and negative fill in different colors.
- Trace graphs are plotted.
- Colormaps can be customized.
For details, please see Geogiga Seismic Pro 7.0 release notes.
Version 6.0
Geogiga Refractor 6.0 has following improvements:
- Receiver coordinates can be loaded from a text file.
- The auto fill feature in importing seismic data is imporved to allow a column to be individually filled with any two nearest rows.
- Seismic data is sorted according to receiver locations instead of receiver numbers.
- The reverse geometry definition is supported.
- The frequency filter includes Butterworth and Ormsby filters with the option of band pass, low pass, high pass, band reject, and notch.
- A window is used in the frequency filter to reduce the energy leakage caused by FFT.
- The spectrum curve in the frequency filter dialog box can be displayed as amplitude or power in dB or relative values with customized view settings.
- The extreme long sample length is well handled in the frequency filter.
- In the trace magnifier, the first arrival of a trace is automatically tracked according to the first arrivals of its nearest traces.
- The layer assignment and phantom are checked before the GRM, Delay Time and ABC methods are used.
- The calculation of reciprocal time is improved according to the base shots rather than the end shots.
- The view points of receivers on TX curves can be turned off and customized.
- The annotations on axes are better aligned to avoid the labels overlapped.
- When a variety of data is saved, the output directory is checked and an appropriate extension is automatically appended to the output filename.
- Any extra margin is removed in saving an image.
- The user guide is updated.
- The version number consists with Geogiga Seismic Pro.
For details, please see Geogiga Seismic Pro 6.0 release notes.
Version 4.2
The update in Geogiga Refractor 4.2 includes:
- Clip the swing of trace wiggle to half of the spacing between traces.
- Label receiver locations instead of trace numbers in the picking view.
- Enable to modify geometry after loading seismic data.
- Save seismic data in a different file.
- Match seismic data and TT curves according to geometry rather than shot number.
- Reset the browse path when opening curves.
- Better default axis labels for the color section display.
- Fix the bug when plotting the depth section with higher elevation.
- Fix the bug with AGC for extreme small seismic data values.
