Version 6.0
Geogiga Front End 6.0 has following new features and improvements:
- The frequency filter includes Butterworth and Ormsby filters with the option of band pass, low pass, high pass, band reject, and notch.
- A window is used in the frequency filter to reduce the energy leakage caused by FFT.
- The spectrum curve in the frequency filter dialog box can be displayed as amplitude or power in dB or relative values with customized view settings.
- The extreme long sample length is well handled in the frequency filter.
- Amplitude decay analysis is added.
- Vertical stacking is available.
- Any extra margin is removed in saving an image.
- The user guide is updated.
- The version number consists with Geogiga Seismic Pro.
For details, please see Geogiga Seismic Pro 6.0 release notes.
Version 2.6
The update in Geogiga Front End 2.6 includes:
- Correct the trigger delay graphically or manually for a single record.
- Trigger delay correction for multiple records.
- Add the Batch Commands tab panel, including Batch Resample, Batch Define Geometry, Integrate Files, and Batch Trigger Delay Correction.
- Fix the bug with AGC for extreme small seismic data values.
For details, please refer to features_seismic09_06.pdf.
Version 2.5
Following new features are available in Geogiga Front End 2.5:
- Shift a seismic trace with Undo/Redo supported.
- Save files in a specified directory.
- Automatically change the output suffix according to different formats.
- Enhance SEG-Y data loading.
- View the Sample Rate in the Trace Display dialog box.
For details, please refer to features_seismic09.pdf.
Version 2.4
Geogiga Front End 2.4 adds following new features in batch geometry assignment:
- Assign geometry for passive surface wave.
- Define the geometry of multi-records at same shot location.
- Plot layout chart as slope or flat.
Version 2.3
The update in Geogiga Front End 2.3 includes:
- Display time in milliseconds instead of seconds.
- Support non-standard SEG-2.
- Fix the un-installation problem from "Start->Program".
- Add tutorial.
Geogiga Front End 2.3 fixes several bugs when multiple seismic data files are integrated:
- Set the output path and filename by default.
- Sort the files after they are moved up/down in the list.
- Allow the input file with SEG-Y format.
In addition, version 2.3 also fixes the display problem of band-pass filter caused by the super-long sample length and removes
the limit on the number of receivers in the layout chart.
Version 2.2
Geogiga Front End 2.2 adds the following new features:
- Swap traces
- Automatically adjusts the display scale when the number of seismic traces is larger than 48.
- Support little endian SEG-Y, auto-check and save SEG-Y data format.
- Check and modify the file property of read/write when the file is saved.
Version 2.1
Geogiga Front End 2.1 fixes several bugs in version 2.0, and adds following features:
- Gain Control including automatic gain control (AGC), trace balance, and time scales.
- Resample seismic data in a batch.
- Sort files with irregular names for batch operations.
Version 2.0
New features in Geogiga Front End 2.0 are listed as follows:
- Scale, mute, average, or reverse seismic traces inside/outside any shape of region.
- Preview layout chart, plot the locations of shots and receivers after batch geometry assignment.
